About Us!

Aardvark #1: Nora Kingman
Nora Kingman is a fun-loving 13-year-old girl.  She is a Crossfitter, which means she goes to this place called CrossFit.  In case you don’t know what CrossFit is then, you know, GOOGLE IT!  Haha, I’m just kidding.  Cross Fit’s like a place where people work out, get it?  CrossFit?  But anyway…Nora is a serious Doctor Who fan and the correct term would be Whovian (I haven’t seen the show yet, but I want to, so don’t hurt me!)  Her favorite authors include Veronica Roth, Suzanne Collins, Allison Condie, Lauren Oliver, and James Dashner.  But, seriously, her #1 favorite author is Veronica Roth who is also her biggest inspiration for all of her writing.  Her mother is a sales representative of Random House and has been around books all her life.  Nora’s mother is also the biggest reason why she has a library at her house.  Not really, but if I took a picture of her bookshelf, it would be overflowing…I’m so jealous of that…Well, if you are interested in reading any of her stories, just click here.      Anything else?  Stalkers!  No! Don’t hurt me…?  Just kidding…Nora’s favorite color is pink (which also used to be mine until it started giving me headaches, but ya know, I still like the color anyway).  And sadly, VERY sadly, I must say she absolutely despises One Direction (I was all like “how could you?!” when she told me).  I have no idea how we get along though-she hates them, I love them this makes no sense…back to what I was talking about before…She doesn’t want me to put her celeb guy obsession…I don’t even know what it is anymore…and Nora’s favorite food is…*drum roll please* SUSHI (that I can agree on)!  She also likes Reese’s :D  I don’t like it (so I grabbed a piece of it and shoved in her face hahaha).  Her favorite movie is House at the End of The Street (the one with Jennifer Lawrence that I still want to see).  She loves David Tennant and Billie Piper (I don’t really know who they are…Nora, don’t kill me!)  And her favorite song is All Alone, by that band Fun.  I hope I’m not being all boring and stuffz (I like the “z” at the end.)  Finally, hopes and dreams for the future: To be a best-selling novelist and win the CrossFit Games!

Aardvark #2: Kristen Sy

Kristen Sy is an extremely literate 13-year-old girl who is almost always happy. Whenever she’s not happy, she’s complaining. Complaining either about not having enough books to read or how horrible a character’s death was. I believe she loves reading because of me (she thinks otherwise, of course) because I practically forced her to read Divergent by Veronica Roth and she’s been constantly reading ever since. I think she’s made it her mission to read every single book on my bookshelf at least once. Kristen’s favorite authors are Suzanne Collins (even though she hasn’t actually finished the Hunger Games trilogy), Veronica Roth (Divergent trilogy), Cassandra Clare (Mortal Instruments series), Kelley Armstrong, Lauren Kate, and Tahereh Mafi (Shatter Me series).

Her favorite color is purple, except for the shade of purple that grape lollipops are, which you will understand by clicking here. Unfortunately, I have to say that she likes One Direction. We have known each other for a little over 3 years now (she thinks it’s been 2 years because she can’t count) and have been very close friends ever since. We “make fun” of each other for giggles, but we don’t take offenseJ. Kristen likes to draw and loves to write. Whenever she’s not drawing, reading, or writing.
